5 Kgs Lost In The First Week!

At 20 years old I gave birth to my daughter. Before pregnancy I was 70 kg and at the end of pregnancy I was 96 kg. After the birth I dropped down to 76kg though I got severely depressed and put a heck of a lot back on. Back up to 91 kg. I was so ashamed of my weight and noticeable size that I refused to leave the house.

The weight gain made my PCOS worse, my milk production stopped and my back ached under the extra weight. At a time where I should be happy with the new addition to my family I was far from it. I knew I had to do something but I found exercise to be a struggle and was exhausted after a very short session. So I started looking into other weight loss methods. That’s when the HCG diet was introduced to me by a family member on my partners side.

I thought, what the heck why not give it a go! Trying something is better than doing nothing at all!

I started the diet following it strictly, not once cheating! In the first 5 days of the 500cal diet and drops I lost 5 kg, 1 kg a day! I can’t express how happy that made me feel! I definitely had a little dance about it! I kept following the diet strictly and the weight kept dropping off, I was losing around 500g to 1kg a day. I loved getting on the scales every morning to see how much I had lost, it was the best feeling! I got a little upset when I plateaued though I knew this was to be expected as it was stated in the instructions that it’s possible to happen. Eventually I did an apple day and the weight started dropping off 500g to 1kg a day. Happy dances started again 🙂

By the end of the diet not only did I feel great, look better and was happier but my PCOS was better and my back was feeling great! I was very happy with the results and best of all I no longer felt ashamed to leave the house! I would strut the streets with my head high!

I started out at 91kg on the 40 day diet. At the end of the 40 days I had lost 25kg and was now sitting at 66kg. I couldn’t believe how much weight I had lost but I sure loved it! Best of all, I followed the maintenance programme at the end of the diet and have kept the weight off!
